Under the hood of the Volante is a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 made by Aston Martin’s “technical partner” AMG. The engine pumps out 503 horsepower and an impressive 513 pounds-feet of torque. The Volante has a top speed of 187 mph and you can zoom from 0 to 62 mph in a blistering 4.1 seconds. The Volante will only offer a V8, whereas the original DB11 was available with a 5.2-liter V-12 engine. The Volante is said to only be offered as an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Volante weighs in with a curb weight of 4,134 pounds, 250 pounds more than the coupe. The convertible top features an eight-layer fabric.
All this style and luxury comes with a big price; the DB11 Volante costs $216,495 (prices do not include destination).
