I’ve been fortunate enough to sample the past two Wild Turkey Master’s Keep releases and I recently uncorked the all-new Wild Turkey Bottled In Bond release. Only 14,400 bottles of this Master’s Keep 17-year-old Bottled in Bond are available. The ‘Bottled in Bond’ or BIB designation isn’t too dissimilar from Champagne or Port where it has very specific requirements. This BIB designation means the entire bottle comes from a single distillation season, so all of this whiskey went into the barrel within six months (there are two seasons per year). The initial BIB liquid must be a minimum of 4-years-old.
This Master’s Keep release was aged for 17 peaceful years at Wild Turkey’s Camp Nelson rickhouses by master distiller Eddie Russell and the finished product is now available in these very limited quantities throughout the nation. You can click here to see if it’s available in your area via Drizly.
