Celebrate with Gratitude: How Grunt Style is Honoring Our Fallen Heroes By Closing On Memorial Day

Grunt Style Memorial Day

Grunt Style

Hope everyone’s looking forward to a Memorial Day weekend full of grilling, chilling, and other fun activities that don’t rhyme with grilling and chilling. But before you throw some burgers on the grill this three-day weekend, remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in the service of our country. Let’s honor their sacrifice this Memorial Day by celebrating with gratitude and remembrance.

Grunt Style certainly doesn’t forget, which is why they are shutting down their website on Monday, forgoing sales on the holiday.

Looking to give back to those we honor on this national holiday? You can start with a contribution to Children of Fallen Patriots (CFP).

The CFP Foundation was founded by veteran David Kim in 2002 to honor his fallen comrade Sergeant William Delaney Gibbs. Over the last 20 years, CFP has raised over $66 million to provide college scholarships and education counseling to more than 2,800 children who have lost a parent in the line of duty.

CFP’s commitment to financial stewardship, and the unwavering focus of its mission, earned the organization a perfect rating from Charity Navigator, a nationally recognized nonprofit evaluation site.
