Greetings from the start of NFL Week 11! It’s getting colder and colder out, which means more than ever we need the warm embrace of football to stave off the seasonal depression, especially here in the frozen tundra of Wisconsin.
As a longtime Dairy State resident who’s not a Packers fan, you get used to the fanbase freaking out over any shortcomings, despite consistently making the playoffs and enjoying two Hall of Fame quarterbacks over the course of 30 years. Boo-freaking-hoo. I watched Adam Gase and Gregg Williams try to run a football team together. However, I’ll concede that something might be wrong after Monday’s performance.
But a new week brings new hope for the Packers and other losers (unless Hurricane Jameis hits). I’d like to be part of the shift in the right direction, as an 8-6 record last week puts me on a consistently average streak for several weeks now.
