Getting to use the Normatec Elite is perfect for me. As a former high school distance runner who lifts heavy on leg days twice a week, I put a lot of wear and tear on these long legs, especially now that I’m in my 30s. I’m looking for any “leg up” on staying in the best physical shape possible as I get older.
Trying them on
Pretty straightforward: each leg zips all the way down to the foot, so it’s super easy to get them on and off (I’d recommend sitting to get them on). Kind of felt like pulling on snow pants.
Powering on and connecting to the app
Once you’ve charged your Normatec boots, you can power it on and connect to the Hyperice app on your phone. From there, you can select from 7 levels of compression, time settings, and the additional ZoneBoost™ for extra time and pressure in a particular zone. Seeing that this was my first time using them, I opted for the full-leg compression experience.

What a feeling! The closest analog I can give is when the doctor takes your blood pressure in your arm. Imagine that sensation from the top of your thighs all the way down to your feet. During each session, the boots alternate pressure and release to target the muscles in each section of your leg that you’ve selected.
