Emily Prymula
It’s been a great visit, but my annual winter sojourn to Florida to see my parents has come to an end. I’m sad to leave the sunshine and palm trees, but my wife and I were strategic enough to head back to Wisconsin after the snow melted and the weather (hopefully) taking a turn for the better. Let’s get spring and summer underway soon so that I can bust out my new Chubbies and swim trunks again.

I got a chance to try out a few of their new arrivals right before I started the drive home. I might be smiling, but internally I was already crying knowing that it was my last day soaking up the sun by the pool for a while. Between the Chubbies gear and the tan, I look too damn good to have to cover up with long pants and sweaters to contend with the dreary, 40-degree weather that I’m going back to in Wisconsin.
Breezetech Friday Shirt

I’m a big Hawaiian shirt guy, but my wife is always encouraging me to be selective about the shirts I rock so that I don’t look like everyone’s weird uncle on vacation. Never going to have that problem in a Chubbies Friday Shirt.
In addition to choosing the “Bloomerang” design for my love of florals, I opted for the Breezetech shirt so that I don’t ever overheat. I can’t stress to you how unbelievably lightweight and breezy it is.

Textured Swim Trunk

I’ve been rocking classic Chubbies swim trunks for years, but this is my first introduction to the Textured Swim Trunk. They’ve got a real seersucker vibe and feel that are right up my alley with my preppy East Coast roots.
As always, you can expect the perfect cut to show off your gains from leg day. I don’t normally love a liner in my swim trunks, but the Chubbies liner keeps everything important supported. I know I’ll really need it when I go swimming in the ocean and I don’t have to shake sand, rocks, and shells out.
