This bros over at Mission Belt Co. recently unveiled their all new Nylon Collection of Ratchet Belts, and you bros are about to learn about one of the underground companies in America that are doing great things and putting out an even greater product. Mission Belt Co. started a few years back when some dudes in Panama City, Florida wanted to help out their bro over in Panama City, Panama.
Their bro living in The Republic of Panamá was working on the docks and had hurt himself, and in order to help him out they rallied funds and sent him an actual bus (from Panama City to Panama City), and upon receiving that bus the bro in Panamá started up a service where fares to and from Panama City cost $1.25, and this gave them the idea of a ‘micro lending’ business. From there the idea of building their world famous no-holes Mission Belt® was borne, and one dollar from the sale of each belt is donated towards fighting hunger and it’s sent to an impoverished family in need. As someone who studied abroad in Panama City, Panama and grew up in Florida I have to say that I’m all about everything the bros at Mission Belt Co. are doing right now.
So they have a great story, they’re doing great things, seem to be great people, yada yada yada yada…right? Wrong. They’re actually making some of the sickest belts on the market. Their newest line is the ‘Mission Belt Men’s Ratchet Belt – Nylon Collection’, and I’m already infatuated. It comes in all sorts of designs, it has no holes (hence the ‘ratchet’), the buckle slips off easily so if you’re traveling you don’t have to take your entire belt off when going through security. It’s almost perfect:
