Sam Adams Just Dropped A Cherry Bomb Beer That’s 9%, But You Would Never Know It From The Taste!

I’ve lived in Milwaukee for the better part of the last 15 years, so you know that I’ve sampled quite a few beers over that course of time. I’m not one to discriminate against trying something new, whether it’s the lightest of light beers or the dankest IPAs. All that matters to me is if the beer is cold and delicious. I’ve gotten that out of just about every Sam Adams beer I’ve ever tried, so I’m thrilled to try out their new Cherry Bomb Imperial Wheat Ale.

The new Cherry Bomb combines a juicy black cherry flavor (thanks to the addition of real cherry juice) and honey with Sam Adams’ signature two-row pale malt blend and ale yeast to deliver a crisp, clean, juicy, and perfectly sweet beer. Here’s the crazy twist: the Cherry Bomb is 9%, but you would never suspect it considering the unbelievable drinkability.

John McElhenny, senior brand manager for Samuel Adams, had this to say about the new release:

“We saw a massive opportunity to bring our signature craftsmanship to the high-ABV category with a flavor that consumers love but isn’t currently in the marketplace. Cherry Bomb is perfect for beer lovers who want bold, juicy cherry flavor and higher ABV without sacrificing a crisp finish – perfect for savoring it solo or sharing it with friends.”

That’s all I need to hear. I’ll be heading out to the store this week to get myself a can or two, and you should, too!
