Play These Xbox One And Xbox 360 Games For Free This Weekend

The word “free” is one of the few universally beloved words on the planet. Usually, anything that is free is not worthwhile, except for free samples at Costco and free Xbox One and Xbox 360 games from Microsoft.

Microsoft is hosting another free-play weekend that will allow gamers to play 2K Sports’ NBA 2K18 and Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six Siege and you won’t even need Xbox Live Gold to enjoy them. You can also play Blizzards’ Overwatch this weekend, but you will need an active Xbox Live Gold membership to play the video game. In the weekend trial, you’ll be able to play the majority of the games. Any progress you make during the free-play weekend will carry over to full versions of the games if you purchase them in the future. The free event runs through Sunday, February 18.

Microsoft is also giving Live Gold members two free games to play. For Xbox One owners, you can download Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India. The Assassin’s Creed spin-off was released on January 12, 2016 by Ubisoft and is available until the first half of March. Meanwhile, Xbox 360 gamers can download Crazy Taxi. The classic Dreamcast arcade racing game is backward compatible with Xbox One and is available until February 28.
