For the first time since 2002, there is a new name at the top of the Forbes Highest Paid Models List as the legendary Gisele Bundchen has finally, and officially been dethroned.
Sadly, we already knew that this day would eventually come when Gisele announced her retirement from walking the runway and performed her final walk at San Paulo Fashion Week back in April of 2015.
Frankly, I am just amazed that it took over a year for it to happen. Then again, considering that Bundchen raked in $30.5 million to top Forbes’ list of highest paid models in 2016, it would have been pretty hard to topple her.
Speaking of last year’s list, it went down like this in 2016…
1. Gisele Bundchen, $30.5 million
2. Adriana Lima, $10.5 million
3. Karlie Kloss, $10 million
4. Kendall Jenner, $10 million
5. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, $9 million
6. Gigi Hadid, $9 million
7. Cara Delevingne, $8.5 million
8. Candice Swanepoel, $7,000,000
9. Liu Wen, $7,000,000
10. Miranda Kerr, $6,000,000
Now, as for 2017’s highest paid models, it looks like this, with three new names added to the list this year…
10. Ashley Graham, $5.5 million
9. Bella Hadid, $6 million

That’s a combined income of $109.5 million, people. And they all totally deserve it too, right?
