One of our favorite tennis players slash SI Swimsuit models, Genie Bouchard, had herself kind of a rough year on the WTA Tour in 2017. Her singles record of 13-21 probably wasn’t quite what she was hoping for, but on the plus side she still took home $562,340 in prize money in addition to all of her sponsorship deals.
Considering that she’s still only 23-years-old and has already racked up $5,716,521 in prize money, I am sure she will somehow cope with finishing clear back in 81st in the 2017 WTA rankings.
Part of that coping apparently comes in the form of taking a little much-needed vacation down in Florida now that her season officially came to an end on November 5th.
As you can see from some of the photos Bouchard has been sharing on social media, she seems to be having a pretty good time relaxing on the beach and doing a little boating.
That is, until she decided to try her hand at a little wakeboarding…
Ouch. Good thing she didn’t need help from a lifeguard after that spill. Then again she might know a guy…
Perhaps she should just stick to golf for all of her offseason sporting endeavors…
