We’ve all been proud (or ashamed) of how much we’ve eaten before, but these competitive eating records will make you look like an anorexic girl in a buffet line. Some are impressive because of the quantity consumed. Others are unbelievably fast. In either case they make me feel much better about finishing a whole pizza buy myself last night because apparently that’s not actually much food.
Most of the records come from Major League Eating. The exception is Kobayashi, who refused to join, but I’ve included a few of his records as well. There are videos for most, but once you’ve seen one competition you’ve seen them all.
