This guy basically invented trash TV, we should know more about him. Morton Downey Jr. was one of the most famous faves of daytime TV in the late 1980s. Magnolia is releasing Evocateur, a new documentary that examines the complex and tormented soul that he was, from his early days in local media to his death in 2001. Evocateur opens on June 7th.
