Henry Cavill just picked up a new guild of fans when he told Jay Leno that he missed Zack Snyder’s call to play Superman in Man of Steel because he was too busy playing World of Warcraft.
The old saying has never been more true. “Women want to be with him; men want to be him.” Fittingly, that phrase is usually applied to James Bond, which Henry Cavill almost played. I don’t know how close he actually came to filling the role, but I’m pretty sure we found the successor whenever Daniel Craig steps away from the franchise. That’s assuming that Cavill can take a break from being a Night Elf Mohawk for a few minutes.
