Knottology makes survival bracelets with more than just paracord

Paracord bracelets are fairly common at this point among campers, hikers, and other people who need a strong, light, cord in an easy to carry package. The problem is once you’ve unwrapped the cord, the bracelet is pretty much useless.

Knottology had a pretty simple brainstorm: If people are buying survival bracelets, why not make bracelets that include a few survival tools.

There are four types clasps you can get for your bracelet. The Banshee features an emergency whistle, the Illuminator has a flashlight, the Navigator has a compass built in, and the Guardian is a compartment that stores vital items such as water purification tablets. Needless to say, they’re reusable, so you can braid your own bracelets around the clasps.

It seems simple but it’s pretty useful, especially if you’re an outdoorsy type, or just somebody who needs lots of cord handy. And while none of the tools are anything excessively fancy, they are stuff that might save your life if you’re out hiking. You’ll be able to find these at most outdoor sports stores.
