Screaming “F-ck the police” at the actual police will get you arrested. Shocking, I know. You can thank Ravens linebacker Rolando McClain for proving that theory. On Sunday night, McClain was arrested in Decatur, Alabama for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
Eyewitnesses at the scene told WHNT News 19 that police officers had ordered McClain and several other people to leave the park after a large crowd had gathered there. McClain allegedly refused to do so, and began cursing at the officers. Authorities said McClain was eventually handcuffed and taken to the city jail before bonding out a short time later.
Even for McClain this seems like an unwise decision given his precarious status in the NFL. The Ravens signed him last month despite his numerous off-season mishaps with the Raiders. Mishaps that included a 2011 conviction for assault. The man’s certainly talented but not talented enough to ignore his off-field stupidity. The countdown clock to his unemployment begins in 3, 2, 1…
