Want to support the USMNT? Boycott waffles

With tomorrow’s US Soccer match vs. Belgium the USMNT is seeking to advance to the World Cup quarter finals, and fans are doing anything they can to show support.

Just like when french fries were outlawed in Washington D.C., and aptly renamed ‘Freedom Fries,’ we as a nation are collectively tossing aside ‘Belgium Waffles’ tomorrow on the day of reckoning. Waffle House is leading the charge:

“”

When asked for comment by EW, Waffle House gave the quote:

“We’re America’s place to eat, so of course we’re supporting Team USA,”

And when speaking to TMZ representatives added:

The rep adds, “We support America. We don’t support Belgian Waffles.”

To which we respond: HELL YES. USA!!! USA!!! USA!!! USA!!! USA!!! USA!!! USA!!! USA!!! USA!!! USA!!!

The last time we faced Belgium in a World Cup was on July 13, 1930…and we absolutely demolished the Belgians to the tune of a 3-0 score. So if history is any indication (and it always is), tomorrow’s going to be an absolute freedom-filled ROUT.

Game time is 4pm EST tomorrow, and the governor of New York has already given all state employees time off to watch the game…and we hope the rest of the nation will fall in line with his moves.

In preparation of the game, here’s some ‘MURICAN memes to get you all jacked up:
