A thrilling contest between the LA Sparks and Tulsa Shock turned ugly after a friendly fire incident. Sparks forward Nneka Ogwumike took a headbutt from teammate Candace Parker after an and-1. The headbutt left her with a serious gash that bled all over the court.
Ogwumike was forced to leave the game but returned. She’s a warrior. The Sparks went on to win 90-88.
