Look at that. It gets pushed out backwards. How fucking weird is that? That’s bad when it happens to humans, but apparently good here.
“As soon as those little tail flukes appear, your heart begins to race,” Lisa Takaki, the aquarium’s senior director of marine mammals, said.
This video comes from the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, and it’s of a momma Pacific white-sided dolphin having her calf.
The new baby dolphin has not been given a name, but is already 25 pounds and three feet long.
