Remember that Belgian fan from yesterday who was awarded a modeling contract with L’Oreal after being spotted in the stands? And then people found all these pictures of her posing with dead animals? Yeah, that modeling contract isn’t a thing anymore.
” Cosmetics giant L’Oreal has severed ties with the Belgian World Cup fan who won a modelling contract after being spotted in the crowd after it emerged she is a fan of big game hunting…
But L’Oreal has confirmed that the modelling contract it awarded her as a result of her new-found fame has already been cancelled after a photo emerged of the teenager posing with a rifle and a dead animal in Africa.”
Of course, L’Oreal is being wishy-washy over whether or not she was actually “let go” over the photos.
” Speaking to The Independent, the cosmetics giant said: ‘L’Oréal Professionnel Belgium collaborated with her on an ad hoc basis to produce a video for social media use in Belgium. The contract has now been completed…’
However, they were keen to stress that L’Oréal ‘no longer tests on animals, anywhere in the world, and does not delegate this task to others.’
L’Oreal has long been keen to promote itself as sensative to animal welfare.”
Translation: “We did not necessarily let her out of her contract over the fact that she hunts animals BUT WE LOVE ANIMALS AND EVERYTHING ANIMAL-RELATED AND WE DON’T KILL THEM OR TEST PRODUCTS ON THEM AT ALL. But yeah, the two aren’t related.”
For sure L’Oreal, for sure.
Oh, and here’s the hair video she was contracted to make. It’s a complete waste of precisely one minute and twenty-two seconds of your life. Enjoy.
