Very early on Wednesday morning Donald J. Trump was elected as the next President of the United States. Throughout his campaign, the extremely polarizing candidate evoked a myriad of emotions including passion, hate, elation, and rage. Many celebrities loathed Trump and declared that they would leave the country if the Republican presidential candidate won. Their day of reckoning has come.
Here’s a list of celebs who have said they are leaving this great nation after Trump’s inconceivable victory.
Amy Schumer, who has been a strong supporter Hillary Clinton, said she would move to Spain if Trump won the election.
“My act will change because I’ll need to learn to speak Spanish because I will move to Spain, or somewhere. It’s beyond my comprehension if Trump won. It’s too crazy.”
The Girls star said she would move to Canada.
“I know a lot of people have been threatening to do this, but I really will. I know a lovely place in Vancouver, and I can get my work done from there.”
Bryan Cranston said he would move to Vancouver, Canada if Trump wins.
“I would definitely move. It’s not real to me that that would happen. I hope to God it won’t.”
“I’m moving to Canada straight away. Me and Drake gonna be neighbors if Donald Trump becomes president.”
The singer told 60 Minutes in Australia that she would move to that country or Canada.
“I can’t believe it. I’m either coming to your country if you’ll let me in, or Canada.”
“I already have my ticket (To Canada). I literally bought my ticket, I swear.”
When it was brought to her attention that she is not a Canadian citizen she said she will “figure that out” later.

The comedian said that she would definitely leave the country if Trump won.
“I did buy a house in another country just in case, so all of these people that threaten to leave the country and then don’t, I will leave the country.”
The pop star said if Trump won the election it would be a “fucking nightmare” and “move out da country”
Samuel L. Jackson
Samuel L. Jackson had a very Samuel L. Jackson response to a Trump victory.
“If that motherfucker becomes president, I’m moving my black ass to South Africa.”
Ruth Bader Ginsburg
The Supreme Court Justice is trying to get as far away from Trump as possible.
“I can’t imagine what the country would be with Donald Trump as our president… Now it’s time for us to move to New Zealand.”
The View co-host contemplated leaving the country in January.
“Maybe it’s time for me to move, you know. I can afford to go.”
“I’m moving, I’m out! I can’t. And I am taking my son with me! I would be devastated [if Trump gets elected], to be honest with you!”
For Cher moving to another country wasn’t far enough. The singer said she would go to another planet.
The former Daily Show host also wants to leave the planet.
“I would consider getting in a rocket and going to another planet, because clearly this planet’s gone bonkers.”
