It’s impossible to get along with all your neighbors, and occasion revenge on those that deserve is sometimes warranted, but I can’t get behind egging a house more than once. I especially can’t condone 100 eggings in a year.
A man accused of pelting his former neighbor’s Ohio home with eggs more than 100 times over a year has been sentenced to 18 months of probation and fined $1,000.
A six-month jail sentence was suspended Tuesday for 31-year-old Jason Kozan. He was sentenced less than a week after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge of inducing panic. Vandalism and menacing charges were dropped.
Egging a house is just damn annoying. I’m not saying the guy should get jail — though some type of mental evaluation might be warranted because doing anything 100 times has to be a sign of illness — but $1000 is a joke.
Does the $1000 go to the family who spent almost half a year cleaning egg off their siding? Not to mention the time spent staring out the window trying to catch the jackass.
