During the 7-hour raid of a Paris suburb on early Wednesday morning, two terrorists were killed and seven suspects were arrested. Sadly, the police also suffered a casualty, Diesel, a police dog died during the siege.
When police raided apartments in the Paris suburb of Saint Denis at 4:30 a.m., Diesel, a 7-year-old Belgian Shepherd, led the way. Unfortunately, the female suicide bomber blew herself up and killed Diesel by doing so.
French police posted a photo of Diesel and said, “assault and explosives search dogs are indispensable in the missions of the operators of the raid.”
