Arrrrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Of course Lena Dunham couldn’t resist taking off her clothes in self-mockery during her SNL hosting debut. She did it for a sketch imagining Lena as Eve in an epic movie about the Garden of Eden. Of course, to 20-something hipsters, Brooklyn is a real-life Garden of Eden, complete with carefree hipster sex with other people who like skinny jeans and the forbidden fruit of eating too much arsenal smoked meats at Fette Sau and being cast East of Eden, past Flatbush Avenue.
But hey! Lena Dunham naked, everyone! Comedy! As David said earlier, meta is the new funny, not just a schtick for snarky assholes.
