This footage of an alpha male lion at the Bannerghatta Safari Lion Park is officially a cautionary tale on why to keep your windows closed on safari.
The Bannerghatta Safari is a ‘natural safari’ located within the Bannerghatta National Park near Bangalore, India, and the allure of this park is it allows people to drive up close to these giant cats from Africa.
At some point, while this station wagon was cruising on through the park, being stalked by one of the lionesses, one of the alpha male lions decided he wanted to eat whatever was inside of the car. The lioness clearly fed off this aggression and began stalking the inhabitants inside of the car while the alpha male was trying to chew through metal and get to the people inside.
