Paralyzed Bride Walking Down The Aisle And Surprising Her Guests Has ALL The Feels

A woman named Gina Giaffoglione, paralyzed from the waist down six years ago in a car crash, recently stunned the guests at her wedding by walking down the aisle with her dad by her side. How cool is that?

Giaffoglione, former athlete who still coaches using her upper body strength, told her dad after her fiance proposed she wanted to be able to walk down the aisle on her father’s arm.

“I told her, ‘Whether we roll down that aisle or whether we walk down that aisle, we’re going to do this.’ It’s been her dream. Obviously it’s a dad’s dream of having the honor of walking your daughter down the aisle,” said Gary, Gina’s father to KETV7. So they got to work. A year and a half later her dream came true.

“I look at it as: I might be having a bad day, but I’m having a day. I’m here, I’m having a day. This walk down the aisle might not be what I always envisioned it to be, but we’re having a walk down the aisle, and it’s happening. You’re here. You’re blessed. And if I can help somebody, in some way, to maybe look at their life a little bit differently and be blessed to have their own day, that’s what I’m having a day, in my eyes,” Gina told KETV7.

Now as much as we LOVE seeing people fail, and we do, very much, every now and then it’s kind of nice to see someone beat the odds and succeed where very few others could even imagine it.
