Philly Reporter Gets Socked In The Face By Random Woman During Live Broadcast

Welp, NBC10 Philadelphia Telemundo correspondent Iris Delgado was just trying to do her job and share some information with the people from out front of City Hall on Thursday night when her worst nightmare happened…

A random accoster grabbed the newswoman’s hair and slugged her one in the face, just as her live segment was concluding.

Damn, gurl. What’s with all the violence?

Like, was she looking for directions or something and got instantaneously pissed off that Iris was kind of busy in the middle of an on-air report and unable give them? That had to be it, because there’s a zero percent chance Iris was sleeping with her man or something of the sort. So when the reporter didn’t ackowledge her, of course, the next logical conclusion was to hit her. Bad form, man.

I mean, if you’re going to interrupt a news broadcast to ask for something, at least do it in the right language, right!? Guarantee Iris would’ve been a little more friendly if she opened with a nice “¿perdóneme?”

No word on if the attacked has been apprehended, but you’d hope someone on-set stepped in to her defense ASAP when that shot was cut. Also, gotta love the anchor’s immediate reaction.

¡Ay dios mio! is about all that’d come to my mouth to after witnessing that. Also, worth nothing that Filadelfia is Spanish for Philadelphia. Learn something new every day.
