Badass Heavily Armed Police Captain Taunts ‘Punk’ Gang Members In Stirring Video – ‘You Will Be Hunted’

Capt. Clay Higgins is known as the “Cajun John Wayne,” and for good reason because he is a real life gun-slinging action hero. Higgins issued an extremely straightforward message to local gang members, “You will be hunted. You will be trapped.”

Higgins, who is also appropriately nicknamed “America’s Toughest Cop,” threatened and taunted a Louisiana gang called the Gremlins. The tough-talking cop boasted that ten suspected members have been arrested, but seven remain at-large. The fugitives are accused of committing murders, thefts and drug-related crimes.

Higgins confidently calls out the thugs:

“If you raise your weapon to a man like me, we’ll return fire with superior fire. I’ll meet you on solid ground anytime, anywhere, light or heavy, makes no difference to me. You won’t walk away.”

Higgins rallied more than a dozen law enforcement agencies to star in his stirring video where he says, “We’re Americans, and we’d rather die on our feet, than live on our knees.” The impassioned video has gone viral, with more than 13 million views.

“You think men like these are afraid of an uneducated, 125 lbs punk like you?” Higgins asked. “That’s never won a fair fight in your life, and holds your gun sideways?”

One of the problems that law enforcement officials are having is that the community is not giving authorities information on the criminals. The reasons could be that they are terrified of retribution from the gangs or they just don’t trust police. But Higgins urged the people of Acadiana to take action.

“I implore you to listen to this message and stand up, take back your streets, take back your country. Come forward with information about these heathens that have terrorized your community. I’m hopeful that the Acadiana community can make a strong stand, and by extension, perhaps the country, will hear this message and make a strong, unified stand when a community comes together and draws a bold line in the sand and says we’re not going to tolerate that kind of violence in our area.”

In a time when Higgins’ message could be construed as racially motivated, the video featured and was supported by local black leaders.

“Take a close look behind me. Standing next to every cop is a leader of our black community. This is not about race. This about right versus wrong,” said Higgins.

If Capt. Clay Higgins sounds familiar it is because he was featured on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last July.

His final words to the Gremlins Gang were this: “you don’t like the things I’ve told you? I’ve got one thing to say. I’m easy to find.”
