Study Says the Happiest You’ll Ever Be Is at Age 23

A study that makes sense, I guess. Via Guyism:

According to a new study, you’ve never been happier than you were at age 23. And the only time you’ll ever be that happy again is when you turn 69. Alrighty

The expansive study polled over 23,000 people between the ages of 17 and 85 to get a read on when people are at the happiest points of their lives.

Conversely, people in their fifties and older than 75 are the unhappiest of all.

The study, conducted by the Centre for Economic Performance at the London School of Economics, also reveals that people in their early twenties often overestimate how disappointed with life they’ll be in the future.

Researchers concluded that decades of expectations falling by the wayside lead to the doldrums that hit people in their fifties.
However, at age 69, people often find contentment or a lack of regret about their lots in life.

In conclusion, the longer you live the more you hate yourself, until you no longer give a fuck. Life sounds like most things, really.
