After Calling Trump A ‘Racist, Sexist, Homophobic President,’ Wanda Sykes Was Booed, Responds With Barrage Of F-Bombs

It’s a very tough time for entertainers and especially comedians after Donald J. Trump was democratically elected to be our next President of the United States. The job of comedians is to make people laugh, but some comics also use their craft to question society through jokes. With half of the country voting for Trump and half of the country voting for Hillary Clinton you step onto a minefield when you attack either one of the presidential candidates. That’s what made Dave Chappelle’s SNL monologue on the election so spectacular. He was honest, yet sensitive that half the voting populace voted one way and the other half voted the other. He addressed the legitimate questions and concerns that many have about Trump, but he also said that he respects the office and will give him a chance. However, when you don’t respect the opinions of the 60,350,241 Americans who voted for Trump, you may face a chorus of boos as Wanda Sykes found out.

On Saturday night, Sykes was performing at the “Comics Come Home” benefit show in the TD Garden in Boston. During her comedy set, she described Trump as an “orangutan,” stating she couldn’t believe the country elected him. The comedian also said “this is not the first time we’ve elected a racist, sexist, homophobic president, he’s just the first confirmed one.” That caused many in the crowd to boo her.

She responded by dropping multiple F-bombs at the audience.

“Fuck you motherfuckers. Fuck all of y’all. Fuck all of y’all. Fuck. Fuck you.”

She then asked, “How could you say he’s not racist?” and “How could you say he’s not sexist?” and “How could you say he’s not homophobic?”

When she left the stage, she saluted the crowd by giving them the middle finger.
