Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air
If you are a social media manager and are looking for a job, might I suggest applying at Yahoo Finance. I have a sneaky suspicion that they may have a brand new opening after Wednesday night’s major faux pas.
Yahoo Finance tweeted out a story about President-elect Donald Trump’s plans to increase the size of the U.S. Navy. You know, make it bigger. But they had a typo. Possibly the worst typo ever.
Yahoo Finance just took the biggest L of 2017 with this tweet and it's only January 6th pic.twitter.com/9C3G5BWZtZ

Of all the letters next to the letter “B” on the keyboard, they hit the absolute wrong one.
Yahoo Finance quickly deleted the tweet and issued an apology.
We deleted an earlier tweet due to a spelling error. We apologize for the mistake.

Spelling error? A spelling error looks like this “arguement.” Wouldn’t this be considered a typo or did their social media manager actually think the word “bigger” started with the letter “N.”
Good luck to this poor fuck explaining how they lost their job over a typo.
Former Yahoo Finance Social Media Manager – “Yeah, I lost my last job because of one measly typographical error.”
Hiring Manager – “That seems rather harsh. We pride ourselves on being understanding here at our company.”
Former Yahoo Finance Social Media Manager – “I worked at Yahoo Finance.”
Hiring Manager – “Well, thanks for coming in today, we’ll keep your resume on file if anything turns up. Don’t call us, we’ll call you.”
Because it’s sort of related and since it is Flashback Friday, here’s South Park‘s brilliant “Naggers” skit.
