Our guest on the show this week is Gabrielle Bolin.

In 2015, Gabrielle left a competitive career in show business in order to use her love of health & fitness to foster self-love and confidence in others.

“I just found myself in this place where I was so focused on ‘am I thin enough?’ or ‘am I pretty enough?’ My agent would send me the sides for the part and I wouldn’t even look at them. I’d focus on ‘how do I fit into this dress?’ and ‘how is my makeup going to look?’ and it was just so toxic I woke up one day and said ‘I don’t like this anymore and I don’t like who I am.”

From that moment forward, Gabrielle went to the gym with a different goal in mind.

“One day I went to the gym and told myself ‘what if I focus on how working out makes me feel and not whether I burned enough calories?'”

Her love of exercising and being around others thrust her into trying group fitness and working as an instructor.

“I thought to myself ‘wait a minute, I get to workout and motivate these people and be on a stage. This is my life! This is the perfect combination of my skill sets.”

Besides becoming a sought after fitness instructor – she’s an instructor for Studio and no motivates people in their living rooms – Gab has run 7 marathons, 3 ultramarathons, 1 triathlon, and took first place in her age group Fall & Spring Cedar Creek Duathlon in 2018 and 2019.
