Week 13 brought us some pretty incredible endings and some great games. Here are all 32 NFL teams ranked worst to first ahead of Week 14.

32 New York Giants (2-10)

Last Week: 27-20 (L) @ Cowboys
This Week: vs. Saints

The Giants continue to be the laughingstock of the league. While departed players like Saquon Barkley and Xavier McKinney shine, New York continues to sink lower and lower. Now, Dexter Lawrence, one of their lone bright spots this year, will miss the rest of the season in a year that was setting up to be a career year.

31. Jacksonville Jaguars (2-10)

Getty Image

Last Week: 23-20 (L) vs. Texans
This Week: @ Titans

Credit to the Jaguars, as they fought hard after Trevor Lawrence left the game due to a vicious cheap shot to take the Texans to the brink. But, with Lawrence likely to miss some time, they will be pretty noncompetitive with Mac Jones under center.

30. Las Vegas Raiders (2-10)

Getty Image

Last Week: 19-17 (L) @ Chiefs
This Week: @ Buccaneers

The Raiders had the Chiefs beat on Friday, only to botch a shotgun snap and lose one one of the strangest plays in recent memory. They’re not very good, but Brock Bowers may already be the best pass-catcher of any tight end in the league. Maxx Crosby continued to make life for tough Patrick Mahomes, as well.

29. Tennessee Titans (3-9)

Getty Image

Last Week: 42-19 (L) @ Commanders
This Week: vs. Jaguars

With five games left, the only real objective is figuring out whether they want to roll with Will Levis again next year or if they’re in the market for a quarterback this offseason.

28. New York Jets (3-9)

Getty Image

Last Week: 26-21 (L) vs. Seahawks
This Week: @ Dolphins

The Jets continue to be a Shakespearean tragedy of the dark comedy sorts. They had the Seahawks beat until a terrible Aaron Rodgers miss followed by interception kept them from going up 28-7. That was their season in a nutshell.

27. New England Patriots (3-10)

Getty Image

Last Week: 25-24 (L) vs. Colts
This Week: Bye

If you’re a Patriots fan, there’s not much better right now than the team playing well, Drake Maye looking like a star, and losing close. Those close losses are going to continue to help their draft position.

26. New Orleans Saints (4-8)

Getty Image

Last Week: 21-14 (L) vs. Rams
This Week: @ Giants

The Saints continue to play hard for interim head coach Darren Rizzi. The fact that Taysom Hill suffered a torn ACL is a real bummer. They should get a win this weekend against the Giants.

25. Carolina Panthers (3-9)

Getty Image

Last Week: 26-23 (L) vs. Buccaneers
This Week: @ Eagles

This has to be the the best Carolina Panthers fans have felt about the franchise in years. I’m all the way in on Bryce Young, and a bunch of other young guys are developing, as well. This is four really good performances by the Panthers in a row. Job well done, Dave Canales.

24. Dallas Cowboys (5-7)

Getty Image

Last Week: 27-20 (W) vs. Giants
This Week: vs. Bengals

No, Dallas isn’t going to get back into the playoff picture. But, they did win their second straight game with a Thanksgiving Day win. If they do beat the Bengals, some in the media will float a potential Dallas Cowboys playoff run. I will not be one of them.

23. San Francisco 49ers (5-7)

Last Week: 35-10 (L) @ Bills
This Week: vs. Bears

Dare I say that the 49ers quit in Buffalo on Sunday night. This is a broken team, physically, mentally, and emotionally. The Super Bowl window in San Francisco may have already closed shut for this core group.

22. Cleveland Browns (3-9)

Last Week: 41-32 (L) @ Broncos
This Week: @ Steelers

The Browns continue to try to play spoiler, and they’re going to hand a contender a huge loss down the stretch. Plus, who is having more fun playing football than Jameis Winston right now?

21. Chicago Bears (4-8)

Getty Image

Last Week: 23-20 (L) @ Lions
This Week: @ Bears

Matt Eberflus has finally been fired, and Caleb Williams continues to improve. His improvement and performance is the main story of the rest of a lost season for the Chicago Bears. If he continues to play well, they may give the permanent gig to interim head coach Thomas Brown.

20. Cincinnati Bengals (4-8)

Getty Image

Last Week: 44-38 (L) vs. Steelers
This Week: @ Cowboys

The Cincinnati defense needs to be totally rebuilt in the offseason. Unfortunately, I don’t have much faith in the ultra-cheap owner Mike Brown allowing the front office to do it the right way. They may waste the Joe Burrow era and not get a Super Bowl.

19. Indianapolis Colts (6-7)

Getty Image

Last Week: 25-24 (W) @ Patriots
This Week: Bye

The Colts had to win on Sunday to keep serious playoff hopes alive, and they did that. But, it’s hard to see Anthony Richardson leading this team to the postseason.

18. Atlanta Falcons (6-6)

Getty Image

Last Week: 17-13 (L) vs. Chargers
This Week: @ Vikings

I was a believer in the Falcons all year. That’s not the case any longer. The coaching isn’t good, Kirk Cousins is too inconsistent, and the defense still has some big holes.

17. Los Angeles Rams (6-6)

Getty Image

Last Week: 21-14 (W) @ Saints
This Week: vs. Bills

I get the feeling that the Rams haven’t played their best football yet. They’re only one game back of Seattle in the division, so the Seahawks should be pretty concerned if the Rams still have another gear they haven’t hit this year.

16. Miami Dolphins (5-7)

Getty Image

Last Week: 30-17 (L) @ Packers
This Week: vs. Jets

The Dolphins are not a cold-weather football team. They’ve proven that over and over again. But, honestly, I thought they played a bit better in the cold against Green Bay than they had in the past. They need to win out to make the playoffs in all likelihood. I think that’s unlikely, but attainable.

14. Houston Texans (8-5)

Getty Image

Last Week: 23-20 (W) @ Jaguars
This Week: Bye

Once again, the Texans won but didn’t look good doing it. And, they are going to be without a valuable piece to their defense in linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair, who is likely to be suspended for a cheap shot against Trevor Lawrence. They look like a one-and-done playoff tetam.

14. Arizona Cardinals (6-6)

Getty Image

Last Week: 23-22 (L) @ Vikings
This Week: vs. Seahawks

Sunday’s loss to the Vikings is a game they may end up wanting back here in a few weeks. But, a win against the Seahawks on Sunday will more than erase the bad taste a late blown lead on Sunday left in their mouths.

13. Seattle Seahawks (7-5)

Getty Image

Last Week: 26-21 (W) @ Jets
This Week: @ Cardinals

The Seahawks dug themselves out of a 21-7 hole that looked like it was going to be a 28-7 hole at one point to come back and win. That’s a much-needed win. Now, a win over the Cardinals this weekend would really put them in the driver’s seat in the NFC North.

12. Washington Commanders (8-5)

Getty Image

Last Week: 42-19 (W) vs. Titans
This Week: Bye

After three straight losses, the vibes are back on track in Washington. A dominant performance heading into the bye gives them something to feel good about heading into the stretch run.

11. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-6)

Getty Image

Last Week: 26-23 (W) @ Panthers
This Week: vs. Raiders

The Buccaneers have outplayed their opponent and lost multiple times this year. On Sunday, they may have been outplayed by Carolina, and they got the win. After some of the breaks that have gone against them this year, they deserved one to go their way.

10. Denver Broncos (8-5)

Last Week: 41-32 (W) vs. Browns
This Week: Bye

9. Los Angeles Chargers (8-4)

Getty Image

Last Week: 17-13 (W) @ Falcons
This Week: @ Chiefs

The Chargers can beat teams in a variety of ways. This week, it was picking off Kirk Cousins four times. Can they take advantage of a struggling Chiefs team this weekend?

8. Baltimore Ravens (8-5)

Getty Image

Last Week: 24-19 (L) vs. Eagles
This Week: Bye

The inability for the Ravens to beat the best teams in the NFL, teams they will need to beat in the playoffs, is starting to get concerning. The offense looks like it may have taken a small step back after a stellar middle-third of the season.

7. Pittsburgh Steelers (9-3)

Getty Image

Last Week: 44-38 (W) @ Bengals
This Week: vs. Browns

The Steelers were not equipped to win a shootout the last few seasons. That’s changed, as Russell Wilson went over 400 yards on Sunday. They’re as dangerous as any of these second-tier contenders, and could be a tough out in the postseason.

6. Minnesota Vikings (10-2)

Getty Image

Last Week: 23-22 (W) vs. Cardinals
This Week: vs. Falcons

The Vikings continue to find ways to win close games, and Sam Darnold led a terrific game-winning drive. But, you’d like to see them blow ou

5. Green Bay Packers (9-3)

Getty Image

Last Week: 30-17 (W) vs. Dolphins
This Week: @ Lions

The Packers took care of business on Thursday night. Most importantly, Jordan Love played turnover-free football. If they can beat the Lions on Thursday night, everything, including the number-one seed, is in play.

4. Kansas City Chiefs (11-1)

Getty Image

Last Week: 19-17 (W) vs. Raiders
This Week: vs. Chargers

There’s a school of thought that says that the best football for the Chiefs is in front of them, and they will play better in the playoffs, just like they did last year. The other school of thought is that this isn’t a vintage Chiefs team, and, they’re going to get exposed when their luck runs out. It’s hard to say which one of those things is true at this point.

3. Detroit Lions (11-1)

Getty Image

Last Week: 23-20 (W) vs. Bears
This Week: vs. Packers

The Lions dominated the Bears on Thanksgiving in the first half, but didn’t take advantage of opportunities to have a bigger lead than 16-0. It nearly came back to cost them the win. That’s not why they dropped in the rankings, though. Injuries, even small ones, are starting to pile up on defense. That’s concerning to me, long-term.

2. Philadelphia Eagles (10-2)

Getty Image

Last Week: 24-19 (W) @ Ravens
This Week: vs. Panthers

The growth of the Philadelphia defense under Vic Fangio this year is sensational. The unit has an argument to be the best in the league this year. Couple that with the way Saquon Barkley is playing and this team is built for the postseason.

1. Buffalo Bills (10-2)

Getty Image

Last Week: 35-10 (W) vs. 49ers
This Week: @ Rams

The Bills beat the ever-loving tar out of the 49ers on Sunday night. Frankly, they made San Francisco quit. If they can somehow get home-field advantage in the playoffs by winning out while the Chiefs lose another game, they will be a tough out. The question remains whether they can beat the Chiefs in the postseason or not. That’s going to be the question until they do it.
