The rankings this week see a pretty big shakeup, especially in the middle. Here are all 32 projected starting quarterbacks for their team’s next game ranked worst to first.

32. Mac Jones (Jacksonville Jaguars)

Getty Image

Last Week: 20/32, 62.5%, 235 yds, 2 TD, 0 INT
Season Stats: 57/92, 62.0%, 512 yds, 2 TD / 3 INT

Credit to Mac Jones, he stepped in admirably on Sunday after Trevor Lawrence was removed due to injury. It was a big improvement from his previous appearances this year.

31. Drew Lock (New York Giants)

Getty Image

Last Week: 21/32, 65.6%, 178 yds, 0 TD, 1 INT
Season Stats: 25/41, 61.0%, 187 yds, 0 TD / 1 INT

Tommy DeVito could end up starting this weekend. There’s not much of a difference in terms of performance between he and Drew Lock, as they’re both bottom-of-the-league options.

30. Cooper Rush (Dallas Cowboys)

Getty Image

Last Week: 21/36, 58.3%, 195 yds, 1 TD, 0 INT
Season Stats: 112/185, 60.5%, 1,008 yds, 5 TD / 2 INT

Rush has led the Cowboys to two wins in a row while playing passable football. He continues to prove he is a rosterable backup in the NFL.

29. Anthony Richardson (Indianapolis Colts)

Getty Image

Last Week: 12/24, 50.0%, 109 yds, 2 TD, 2 INT
Season Stats: 102/215, 47.4%, 1,511 yds, 7 TD / 9 INT

The potential is there. That’s clear every week. But, Anthony Richardson has to start developing into at least a mediocre passing quarterback in the NFL rather quickly. Time is ticking, as the Colts could move on from him this offseason if he doesn’t show improvement.

28. Aidan O'Connell (Las Vegas Raiders)

Getty Image

Last Week: 23/35, 65.7%, 340 yds, 2 TD, 0 INT
Season Stats: 75/117, 64.1%, 795 yds, 4 TD / 2 INT

O’Connell played one of the best games of his career on Friday against a suddenly-struggling Chiefs defense. His connection with Brock Bowers could potentially have the Raiders waiting another year on a quarterback in the draft and seeing what they have in O’Connell.

27. Will Levis (Tennessee Titans)

Getty Image

Last Week: 18/37, 48.6%, 212 yds, 2 TD, 0 INT
Season Stats: 154/240, 64.2%, 1,659 yds, 12 TD / 9 INT

After a few weeks of solid play, Levis showed some regression in terms of accuracy in Week 13. Still, he’s trending upwards compared to his terrible start to the season.

26. Aaron Rodgers (New York Jets)

Getty Image

Last Week: 21/39, 53.8%, 185 yds, 2 TD, 1 INT
Season Stats: 262/419, 62.5%, 2,627 yds, 19 TD / 8 INT

Truly nobody saw talk of Aaron Rodgers being benched this year as a possibility. But, that’s where we are at. His play is completely uninspiring and he’s holding the Jets offense back.

25. Bryce Young (Carolina Panthers)

Getty Image

Last Week: 26/46, 56.5%, 298 yds, 1 TD, 0 INT
Season Stats: 139/234, 59.4%, 1,381 yds, 6 TD / 6 INT

Bryce Young continues to play really solid fumble, frequently better than the raw stats suggest. The Panthers seem set to build their future around him.

24. Drake Maye (New England Patriots)

Getty Image

Last Week: 24/30, 80.0%, 238 yds, 1 TD, 1 INT
Season Stats: 172/256, 67.2%, 1,696 yds, 11 TD / 8 INT

It’s pretty clear at this point that the Patriots have their franchise quarterback in Drake Maye. This offseason is about improving the pieces around him, both up front and on the perimeter.

23. Jameis Winston (Cleveland Browns)

Getty Image

Last Week: 34/58, 58.6%, 497 yds, 4 TD, 3 INT
Season Stats: 141/230, 61.3%, 1,763 yds, 11 TD / 7 INT

Monday night was a classic Jameis Winston game, with incredible highs and incredible lows. One thing is for sure, he’s a huge upgrade over Deshaun Watson.

22. Caleb Williams (Chicago Bears)

Getty Image

Last Week: 20/39, 51.3%, 256 yds, 3 TD, 0 INT
Season Stats: 253/411, 61.6%, 2,612 yds, 14 TD / 5 INT

Williams continues to play his best football in crunch time. Now, the Chicago Bears need to hire the right coach for him in the offseason.

21. Derek Carr (New Orleans Saints)

Getty Image

Last Week: 24/37, 64.9%, 184 yds, 1 TD, 0 INT
Season Stats: 169/248, 68.1%, 1,926 yds, 14 TD / 4 INT

Derek Carr continues to play solid football, even if the situation around him isn’t very good. He’s a potential trade candidate for a team looking for a veteran upgrade at quarterback this offseason as the Saints embark on a rebuild.

20. Kirk Cousins (Atlanta Falcons)

Getty Image

Last Week: 24/39, 61.5%, 245 yds, 0 TD, 4 INT
Season Stats: 269/399, 67.4%, 3,052 yds, 17 TD / 13 INT

Frankly, Cousins’ performance against the Chargers could be charactized as a meltdown. The Falcons outplayed the Chargers, only to be hampered by four costly picks from the veteran. With their NFC South lead slipping away, he need to be more consistent.

19. Russell Wilson (Pittsburgh Steelers)

Getty Image

Last Week: 29/38, 76.3%, 414 yds, 3 TD, 1 INT
Season Stats: 123/187, 65.8%, 1,626 yds, 10 TD / 3 INT

Wilson played his best game as a Steeler, absolutely torching the Bengals. He looks to be one of the steals of the 2024 offseason.

18. CJ Stroud (Houston Texans)

Getty Image

Last Week: 22/34, 64.7%, 242 yds, 1 TD, 0 INT
Season Stats: 272/430, 63.3%, 3,117 yds, 15 TD / 9 INT

Stroud is not the same quarterback he was as a rookie, that’s for sure. That’s not say he’s not any good. But, he was thought to be the next elite quarterback after his rookie year. He may no longer be on that trajectory.

17. Geno Smith (Seattle Seahawks)

Getty Image

Last Week: 20/31, 64.5%, 206 yds, 1 TD, 0 INT
Season Stats: 300/436, 68.8%, 3,241 yds, 13 TD / 12 INT

If Smith can limit the turnovers like he did on Sunday, the Seahawks are a tough out. That’s been a problem for him this year, despite the prolific yardage stats.

16. Brock Purdy (San Francisco 49ers)

Getty Image

Last Week: 11/18, 61.1%, 94 yds, 0 TD, 0 INT
Season Stats: 213/324, 65.7%, 2,707 yds, 13 TD / 8 INT

Last year at this time, many were convinced that Brock Purdy was approaching elite quarterback status. This season has proved that, while he is a starting-caliber quarterback, he’s far from elite.

15. Bo Nix (Denver Broncos)

Getty Image

Last Week: 18/35, 51.4%, 294 yds, 1 TD, 2 INT
Season Stats: 277/434, 63.8%, 2,842 yds, 17 TD / 8 INT

Nix regressed a bit from a great stretch of play in Week 13. Still, few thought he would be this good this soon.

14. Jordan Love (Green Bay Packers)

Getty Image

Last Week: 21/28, 75.0%, 274 yds, 2 TD, 0 INT
Season Stats: 194/308, 63.0%, 2,518 yds, 20 TD / 11 INT

Like Geno Smith, the name of the game for Love is limiting turnovers. He did that against the Dolphins, and it’s no accident that the Packers won convincingly.

13. Sam Darnold (Minnesota Vikings)

Getty Image

Last Week: 21/31, 67.7%, 235 yds, 2 TD, 0 INT
Season Stats: 242/358, 67.6%, 2,952 yds, 23 TD / 10 INT

Darnold struggled for much of Sunday’s game. But, he came through in the clutch once again, leading a fantastic game-winning drive. He’s in line for a big payday in free agency this offseason.

12. Jayden Daniels (Washington Commanders)

Getty Image

Last Week: 25/30, 83.3%, 206 yds, 3 TD, 1 INT
Season Stats: 252/362, 69.6%, 2,819 yds, 15 TD / 6 INT

After hitting a bit of a wall, Jayden Daniels got back to playing good football against the Titans in Week 13. Let’s hope that’s a sign of things to come.

11. Kyler Murray (Arizona Cardinals)

Getty Image

Last Week: 31/45, 68.9%, 260 yds, 1 TD, 2 INT
Season Stats: 246/358, 68.7%, 2,603 yds, 13 TD / 6 INT

Murray was never comfortable in the pocket on Sunday against a good Vikings pass rush. That hurt his efficiency, as he had to settle for frequent checkdowns.

10. Tua Tagovailoa (Miami Dolphins)

Getty Image

Last Week: 37/46, 80.4%, 365 yds, 2 TD, 0 INT
Season Stats: 207/278, 74.5%, 2,125 yds, 15 TD / 4 INT

The Dolphins once again fell short in the cold at Lambeau Field on Thanksgiving. But, it wasn’t due to poor performance from Tua Tagovailoa. He continued to play fantastic football. If he can stay healthy, the Dolphins could really contend in the next few seasons.

9. Justin Herbert (Los Angeles Chargers)

Getty Image

Last Week: 16/23, 69.6%, 147 yds, 0 TD, 0 INT
Season Stats: 213/336, 63.4%, 2,551 yds, 13 TD / 1 INT

The numbers are far from eye-popping. But, Herbert does exactly what he’s asked to do week-in, week-out. That can’t be undervalued.

8. Matthew Stafford (Los Angeles Rams)

Getty Image

Last Week: 14/24, 58.3%, 183 yds, 2 TD, 0 INT
Season Stats: 270/409, 66.0%, 2,983 yds, 17 TD / 7 INT

Stafford started slow against the Saints. But, he heated up in the second half. The Rams’ playoff hopes rest on his right arm.

7. Jalen Hurts (Philadelphia Eagles)

Getty Image

Last Week: 11/19, 57.9%, 118 yds, 1 TD, 0 INT
Season Stats: 208/304, 68.4%, 2,494 yds, 14 TD / 5 INT

Hurts wasn’t asked to do much against the Ravens, as the Eagles had limited snaps and the run game was working. But, he continues to run the league’s hottest offense about as well as you can ask.

6. Baker Mayfield (Tampa Bay Buccaneers)

Getty Image

Last Week: 21/33, 63.6%, 235 yds, 1 TD, 2 INT
Season Stats: 288/407, 70.8%, 3,034 yds, 25 TD / 11 INT

Mayfield struggled for much of the game against the Panthers. But, he led an ultra-clutch drive in the waning seconds of the game. He’s been as valuable to the Bucs as any player in the league has been to their team.

5. Lamar Jackson (Baltimore Ravens)

Getty Image

Last Week: 23/36, 63.9%, 237 yds, 2 TD, 0 INT
Season Stats: 254/379, 67.0%, 3,290 yds, 29 TD / 3 INT

Jackson’s stats were propped up by a garbage time drive, as the Eagles defense frustrated Jackson and the Ravens offense for much of the game. Still, he’s having another season that has him in the thick of the MVP race, even if he’s cooled off recently.

4. Patrick Mahomes (Kansas City Chiefs)

Getty Image

Last Week: 26/46, 56.5%, 306 yds, 1 TD, 0 INT
Season Stats: 292/427, 68.4%, 2,979 yds, 19 TD / 11 INT

All of a sudden, the Chiefs cannot protect Patrick Mahomes. He’s frequent making lemonade out of lemons, and has significantly cut down on the turnovers, as well. He’s rounding into form. The question is whether the Chiefs will do the same at some point. That being said, they’re still winning.

3. Jared Goff (Detroit Lions)

Getty Image

Last Week: 21/34, 61.8%, 221 yds, 2 TD, 0 INT
Season Stats: 244/340, 71.8%, 2,982 yds, 22 TD / 9 INT

Goff was steady on Thanksgiving Day. He still has an outside chance at the MVP if he finishes the season strong.

2. Joe Burrow (Cincinnati Bengals)

Getty Image

Last Week: 28/38, 73.7%, 309 yds, 3 TD, 1 INT
Season Stats: 302/446, 67.7%, 3,337 yds, 30 TD / 5 INT

Burrow torched a stellar Pittsburgh defense, and his defense continues to let him down. The Bengals defense has likely robbed Joe Burrow of his first MVP award this season.

1. Josh Allen (Buffalo Bills)

Getty Image

Last Week: 13/17, 76.5%, 148 yds, 2 TD, 0 INT
Season Stats: 230/356, 64.6%, 2,691 yds, 20 TD / 5 INT

Allen’s entire season was encapsulated by a play on Sunday night when he threw a pass to Amari Cooper, Cooper pitched Allen the ball as he was getting tackled, and Allen got to the pylon for both a passing and receiving touchdown. He is now the clear MVP favoritte.
