NFL Free Agency is underway. Here are ten free agents to keep an eye on.

Quarterback Sam Darnold

Darnold had a breakout year with the Minnesota Vikings as rookie first-rounder JJ McCarthy sat out the year with a knee injury. While he stumbled a bit in Week 18 and the Wild Card Round, Darnold proved to be a competent NFL starting quarterback. That means that he’s going to fetch a big contract in free agency, but it won’t be from the Vikings.

Defensive Lineman Milton Williams

Williams was a breakout star on the interior for the Philadelphia Eagles, and showed ability to rush the passer effectively. At just 26, he’s going to get a huge deal in free agency.

Defensive lineman Josh Sweat

Sweat was up-and-down in the regular season, but was dominant on the edge for Philadelphia in their Super Bowl run. I’m intrigued to see just how big of a contract that earns him.

Wide Receiver Chris Godwin

The ultra-consistent Godwin was one of the very best wide receivers in the NFL this year prior to dislocating his ankle. It seems like he’s been around forever, but he hasn’t turned 30 yet. He’s going to get a huge contract, upwards of $25 million a year.

Defensive End Joey Bosa

Once one of the league’s very best players, Bosa has declined from that lofty status. But, he’s still a solid player, and we’ve seen plenty of pass-rushers get a second wind with a change of scenery. Someone is going to pay him a ton of money.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers

Yeah, he’s not the elite level quarterback that he once was. Frankly, I’m not sure he’s good enough to lead a team to the playoffs. But, it’s going to be big news when he decides on a team, that’s for sure.

Center Drew Dalman

Dalman missed eight games due to an ankle injury in 2024. But, with Trey Smith off the board, the 26 year old may be the best interior linemman on the board. Could he be a Chicago Bear?

Offensive Tackle Cam Robinson

Robinson, who was a midseason acquisition for the Minnesota Vikings from the Jaguars, is an average-at-best left tackle. Here’s the the thing, though. Average-at-best offensive tackles get big contracts on the open market.

Cornerback Charvarius Ward

Charvarius Ward was not good in 2024. But, he was spectacular in 2022 and 2023, and solid before that. Someone is going to bet big on the 2022-2023 version of Ward.

Jevon Holland

Holland is one of the most underrated safeties in the league, and can make plays in a variety of ways. The Carolina Panthers are being heavily linked to the former Dolphin, as they have a huge hole in their secondary.
