The NFL Draft is now just a few days away, and these ten teams could be looking to trade up in the first round.
Los Angeles Raiders - Pick 6

Ultimately, like a lot of teams on this list, whether the Raiders trade up or not will depend on how much they like Colorado Quarterback Shedeur Sanders, and how they think the top of the first round is going to play out. They might be the first team in terms of draft order that is interested in him, but they need to be wary of a team further back hopping in front. If they think Sanders is the guy, they can’t let that happen.

The Saints, who are likely without Derek Carr all season, are in the same situation as the Raiders to a degree. They’re one of the first teams showing serious interest in Sanders, but if he’s their guy, they might have to move up.
San Francisco 49ers - Pick 11

Few teams play the compensatory picks game as well as the 49ers, and they have eleven picks in 2025 and could have that many in 2026. That means, for a team whose window is closing quickly, moving up to get a player they absolutely love, like Mason Graham, is certainly on the table.
Arizona Cardinals - Pick 16

The Cardinals have some a long way in their rebuild, but the defensive line is still a glaring need. At this point, they could be looking to move up into the top few picks and make a huge splash for a difference-maker up front.
Pittsburgh Steelers - Pick 21

The Steelers need to find a quarterback, reportedly have interest in Shedeur Sanders, and Sanders isn’t likely to get to the 21st pick. So, they could absolutely move up if they feel like he’s their guy.
Los Angeles Chargers - Pick 22

The Los Angeles Chargers have a great foundation, but need some star power both on the offensive line and in terms of offensive playmakers. They may not trade up into the top ten, but could move into the teens to get a guy they love.
Houston Texans - Pick 25

The Texans really need help on the offensive line. If they love a prospect, they’ve got to go get him.
Buffalo Bills - Pick 30

The Bills are oh-so-close to beating the Chiefs. Another pass-rusher or playmaker could be the difference, and trading up a dozen-or-so spots would go a long way towards that.
Kansas City Chiefs - Pick 31

The Chiefs have got to fix the offensive line, especially the offensive tackle situation. Trading up to get their guy is the right move.
Philadelphia Eagles - Pick 32

Let’s face it, this is a luxury pick. The Eagles are loaded everywhere, and have eight picks in this draft, all in the first five rounds. GM Howie Roseman is not afraid to make a big move, and the team could use a pass-rusher or even a future replacement for Lane Johnson.
