These ten players could swing the Super Bowl.

For the second time in three years, the Eagles and Chiefs will meet in the Super Bowl in a matchup that could break viewership records.
Most of the focus leading up to Super Bowl LIX will focus on the star players like Patrick Mahomes, Saquon Barkley, Travis Kelce, Jalen Carter, and others. But, we’ve seen before that Super Bowls can be swung by players who aren’t established superstars. These ten players could swing the Super Bowl and win the game for their team.
Philadelphia Eagles Guard Mekhi Becton

Injuries and poor play led to Mekhi Becton being labeled as a bust as a New York Jet. But, the Eagles have moved him inside to guard this year, and he’s been solid. Becton has sprung quite a few big Saquon Barkley runs this year. If he gets his hands on a linebacker, it could pave the way for a run that could change the game.
Philadelphia Eagles Wide Receiver Jahan Dotson

Everyone knows that the Eagles passing attack primarily goes through AJ Brown, Devonta Smith, and Dallas Goedert. The Chiefs are going to look to take those guys away, and someone else will have to make a play through the air for Philadelphia. Dotson, a former first-round pick of the Commanders, has the talent to be that guy.
Philadelphia Eagles Defensive Tackle Milton Williams

The interior of the Kansas City offensive line is going to be focused on Jalen Carter, and on running downs, Jordan Davis. That makes sense, because Carter is one of the best players in all of football and Davis is a great run defender when he’s playing hard. But, Williams is one of the most underrated players in the NFL. If he can put some pressure on Mahomes up the middle, that’s going to hinder Kansas City’s offense.
Philadelphia Eagles Cornerback Cooper DeJean

The player most likely to get game-changing pick-six is definitely Philadelphia rookie defensive back Cooper DeJean. DeJean has been extraordinary as part of a dynamic rookie duo with Quinyon Mitchell. He’s electric with the ball in his hands, and has great ball skills. Could he ice the game with an interception and return of Patrick Mahomes?
Philadelphia Eagles Safety Reed Blankenship

Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs love to throw over the middle, especially to Travis Kelce. Blankenship is going to have to have a great game, especially on the snaps he matches up against Kelce.
Kansas City Chiefs Wide Receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster

JuJu is only 28, but he’s not the same player physically he was when he was a true star receiver in the NFL. But, Patrick Mahomes trusts him in big spots, as evidenced by his 60 yards last week against the Bills. Expect Mahomes to give him a couple of targets against Philadelphia.
Kansas City Chiefs Wide Receiver Hollywood Brown

Hollywood Brown was brought in during the offseason to be the number-two receiver behind Rashee Rice. But, Brown was hurt in training camp, and Rice suffered a season-ending injury early in the season. Brown has not paid off that contract, but all would be forgiven if he has a big game in the Super Bowl. He’s certainly capable of it.
Kansas City Chiefs Tight End Noah Gray

Travis Kelce will go down as the greatest receiving tight end of all-time, and much of the focus rightfully goes on him when talking about the Kansas City passing game. But, Noah Gray is as good as any backup tight end in the league. He had 437 receiving yards this year, and is a solid bet to score a touchdown in the Super Bowl.
Kansas City Chiefs Defensive End George Karlaftis

It’s not an exaggeration to say that the Philadelphia offensive tackle duo of Lane Johnson and Jordan Mailata is one of the best tandems in history. If any Chiefs edge rusher is going to win some reps against those guys, it’s going to be Karlaftis.
Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Drue Tranquil

Drue Tranquil is the unsung hero of the Chiefs defense, and is going to get a ton of snaps trying to stop the powerful Philadelphia running game. If he has a big game, the Chiefs are going to be sitting pretty.
