Game Analysis:
This Saturday, the No. 17 Pittsburgh Panthers (7-0, 3-0 ACC) will face the No. 20 SMU Mustangs (7-1, 4-0) at Gerald J. Ford Stadium in Dallas. Pittsburgh enters the game with a strong defense, highlighted by a 41-13 victory over Syracuse, where the Panthers’ defense scored three pick-sixes against Orange quarterback Kyle McCord. Offensively, quarterback Eli Holstein has been effective, passing for 108 yards and two touchdowns in the Syracuse game before exiting in the fourth quarter as a precaution.
