Game Analysis:

This Sunday’s matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles (3-2) and New York Giants (2-4) is set to be a key NFC East battle. The Eagles are coming off a narrow 20-16 win over the Cleveland Browns. Jalen Hurts has struggled a bit this season, throwing just 6 touchdowns and 4 interceptions, and has been sacked 14 times behind an offensive line that was expected to be among the best in the league. However, the Eagles’ rushing game, averaging 146.2 yards per game, remains a major strength. Philadelphia’s defense, ranked 6th in the league in total yards allowed, will be critical in containing the Giants’ offense.

The Giants, meanwhile, are coming off a tough 17-7 loss to the Bengals, where their offensive struggles continued. With injuries on the offensive line, particularly to left tackle Andrew Thomas, the protection for quarterback Daniel Jones has been shaky. The Giants are averaging just 17.8 points per game, and their ability to move the ball will heavily depend on running back Tyrone Tracey Jr., who rushed for 128 yards in his last game. The Giants’ defense, however, has been solid, allowing only 20.2 points per game, and they’ll need a strong performance to have a chance at upsetting the Eagles.
