Ranking The 11 Best Super Bowl Commercials This Year (And The Worst One)

ranking the best Super Bowl commercials of 2026

Anheuser-Busch / Pepsi / Xfinity

Super Bowl LX is officially in the books with the Seattle Seahawks dominating the New England Patriots. Seattle won their second franchise Super Bowl after holding the Pats scoreless through three quarters but it was the off-field activities that really stole the show this year, mainly Bad Bunny’s Halftime Show and the Super Bowl commercials.

The best Super Bowl commercials this year, overall, came from well established brands. Whatever untold millions they were paying their creative agencies turned out to be worth it, for the most part.

Ranking The 12 Best Super Bowl Commercials This Year (And The Worst)

For good measure, I had to throw in one Super Bowl LX commercial that falls into the ‘worst’ category. We will get to that one last.

BEST: Budweiser – American Icons

Budweiser first released this Super Bowl spot 2 weeks ago on YouTube. It has already racked up 6 million views and counting which is virtually unheard of for a branded video.

This one combines to things Americans cannot ever get enough of: ‘Free Bird’ by Lynyrd Skynyrd and adorable animals. It was a winning combination from start to finish.

2. Pepsi – The Choice

Either Pepsi has reignited the Cola Wars or to them, there has never been a ceasefire. Whatever the case might be, they came out swinging with ‘The Choice’ where the iconic Pepsi polar bear is in love with zero sugar Pepsi.

Somehow this video has already racked up 51 million views on YouTube. That seems impossible from where I’m sitting. Who are the 51 million people searching for Pepsi’s Super Bowl LX commercial on YouTube?!

3. Xfinity – Jurassic Park Works

This ‘what if’ commercial from Xfinity imagines a world where Jurassic Park didn’t go completely off the rails due to a sabotaged security system from Newman. Instead, they just plug it back in and everything goes off as planned.

They got the stars from the original Jurassic Park to appear and all is well in this universe.

4. Dunkin’ – Good Will Dunkin

Nowhere in America is Dunkin’ more popular than New England, especially Boston. I can speak from experience here and to see that take center stage in a Super Bowl commercial with Ben Affleck was fantastic.

But it wasn’t all about Dunkin’ in this spot. They got Ben playing Will Hunting and also included iconic sitcom stars from that era with Jason Alexander as Costanza, Matt LeBlanc as Joey, Carlton is there, Urkel’s in it, Ted Danson playing Sam from Cheers. This is PURE NOSTALGIA from start to finish and I almost forgot it was about Dunkin’ to begin with.

5. Michelob Ultra – The ULTRA Instructor

Beer companies always crush it with their Super Bowl commercials. Michelob Ultra releases a top tier big game spot every year.

This one includes iconic celebs and athletes. It’s funny. They’ll run this one for months to come.

6. Bud Light – Keg

When this first Bud Light commercial started I was like ‘oh, Peyton, Shane, and Post, this is great’ but things quickly went off the rails and I found myself wondering if it was an homage to the Cooper’s Hill Glouceser Cheese Roll. I still don’t know the answer but I’m going to assume it and that whoever was behind this commercial knows ball.

7. Norvartis – Relax Your Tight End

Did this one remind me of a famous Silicon Valley entrepreneur who is famous for all the wrong reasons? Sure. But Novartis is a known commodity and not Elizabeth Holmes. And this commercial was a perfect way to incorporate the athletes into the commercials which piqued my interest about the tests…

8. Pringles – Pingleo

Could I really tell you what went on here? Not so much. But Sabrina Carpenter looked stunning and it got me craving Pringles so I think it is safe to say they accomplished the mission with this one.

9. Oakley x Meta – Athletic Intelligence

This one is more of a personal choice. I recently picked up the Oakley x Meta Vanguards and I spoke with PGA Tour star Ashkay Bhatia (who appears in this commercial) for an interview about it. So I was stoked to see this one come out in finished form and also featuring some other non-mainstream athletes in there getting amazing exposure.

10. Kinder Bueno – YES Bueno

This was one of the highest-rated Super Bowl commercials of 2026. Kinder Bueno crushed it. Their video already has 24 millions views on YouTube alone. Now I’m craving Kinder Bueno…

11. Lay’s – Last Harvest

From what I’ve seen online, and this may or may not be true, but the Lay’s ‘Last Harvest’ Super Bowl commercial was created after a study back in 2021 found that a whopping 42% of Lay’s customers were unaware that potato chips came from potatoes. Just let that sink in for a moment and this year’s Super Bowl commercial will make a LOT more sense.

WORST: Ring – ‘Be A Hero In Your Neighborhood’

Am I a dog owner? Yes. I’m a dog person through and through. I want to help any dog that runs away. Do I also side with the countless people online talking about how this year’s Ring Super Bowl commercial introduced a ‘creepy’ new feature that gives the largest corporations on earth more access than they need? Yes, I tend to lean that direction with this Ring spot. Hard pass on this one.

And that’s all for this year. Which one do you think was the best Super Bowl commercial of 2026? Let me know in the Facebook comments!
