6-Foot-4, 348-Pound Penn State OL Vega Ioane Destroys UCLA DE After Going In Motion

At 6-foot-4, 348 pounds, Penn State offensive lineman Vega Ioane is hard to miss on a football field.

Unfortunately for UCLA defensive lineman Luke Schuermann, he learned that the hard way on Saturday when he got absolutely de-cleated by the Nittany Lions sophomore.

But this wasn’t just any old pancake block. That’s because Penn State offensive coordinator Andy Kotelnicki is a mad scientist. Kotelnicki, who came over from Kansas in the offseason, lined up Ioane in the slot and brought him in motion, allowing him to run full speed into an unwitting Scheurmann.

The result? Well, we’ll let you see for yourself.

Ioane setnt Schuermann flying to help carve out a lane for running back Kaytron Allen, who carried the ball for an 8-yard game.

A few players later, quarterback Drew Allar scored on a tush push to cap a 16-play, 82-yard touchdown drive.

But all college football fans could think about was the lineman in motion.

A pulling lineman of Ioane’s size is terrifying enough. But give him a full head of steam and that’s just downright terrifying.

Our condolences to Luke Schuermann and family.
