Trade rumors in the NBA are still at an all-time high, as multiple star players could be shipped off to new teams at any moment.
One scenario that many are keeping track of is James Harden, as he asked the Philadelphia 76ers to trade him away.
It’s become a sticky situation though. He ended up signing his player option, putting the ball in Philadelphia’s court.
But recent reports claim there isn’t much of a trade market for James Harden right now. And that might be why the 76ers are now considering keeping him, per Brian Windhorst.

There are probably several ways to interpret this news. Maybe the front office believes Harden gives the team the best chance to win.
On the other hand, the lack of trade interest might be forcing Philly’s hand.
Either way, fans everywhere are confused about what’s going on in Philadelphia.

If Harden stays in Philly it could turn ugly. Some fans just aren’t buying this report.
Naw they gotta send him on his way

It’ll be interesting to watch this unfold. If the 76ers actually want Harden to stay, they have to find a way to mend the relationship.
That’s especially true if the front office can’t find a suitable trade partner for James Harden.
We may just have a standoff between Harden and the organization. So, keep an eye out for more updates to see who wins.
