Yankees DH Alex Rodriguez is a man who simply refuses to go away and I can’t thank him enough for it. Baseball is a sport in dire need of polarizing individuals, so the fact that A-Rod went yard on the very first swing he took at Spring Training kinda warms the heart. The sports needs characters, so it’s nice to see him off to the proper start.
We’re barely into March, people, and A-Rod’s already in the conversation and irritating middle-aged, holier than though sportswriters.
And wow, he truly destroyed the hell out of that pitch. The sound off the bat is almost alarming as the whoever that is reacting to the moonshot.
