Aaron Rodgers is getting healthier and healthier with each passing week. Still, though, the future Hall of Fame New York Jets quarterback recently admitted he’s still dealing with some “difficulties” with his recently repaired Achilles.

Speaking to reporters ahead of the Jets’ Week 4 game, the former Green Bay Packers signal-caller revealed he’s still dealing with some “difficulties” with his surgically repaired Achilles and that his rehabilitation is an ongoing “process.”

“I can’t say I’m bereft of some difficulties with the Achilles, but it’s a process. I feel better [from] Week 1 to Week 2, Week 2 to Week 3, and then we got a nice little gift there with the long weekend, so I feel better,” Rodgers told the media of his progress.

“I said after Week 1 I felt like I was going to progress and be able to move around a little bit more, I did that maybe a little bit against Tennessee and then obviously moved around a lot more effectively in Week 3.”

With Rodgers feeling better and better each week, and clearly playing better this week, Jets fans are beginning to see the Rodgers they thought they were acquiring before he tore his Achilles, and that’s a four-time MVP-level player.

Through three games this season, Rodgers has completed 67.4% of his passes for 624 yards, five touchdowns, and one interception.

Rodgers and the Jets will look to extend their winning streak to three games this weekend when they host the Denver Broncos in Week 4 on Sunday, September 29 at 1 p.m. EST.

Rodgers will likely have extra motivation heading into the matchup after his war of words with Broncos head coach Sean Payton over his comments about Jets offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett last summer, criticizing the coaching job that Hackett did with the Broncos in 2022.
