Aaron Rodgers‘ friendship with Raiders WR Davante Adams is well-noted. The duo was one of the NFL’s best as members of the Green Bay Packers.

The two last played as teammates in 2021 when Adams racked up a career-high 1,553 receiving yards. Since, each has moved on to another squad.

Adams left Green Bay after that ’21 campaign, signing a massive deal with the Las Vegas Raiders. Rodgers followed suit the following season to join forces with the New York Jets.

Though only a few seasons have passed with the NFLers playing on different sides of the country, Rodgers seems antsy to get his pass catcher back on his sideline.

Earlier this week, Adams sat down with Kay Adams to talk about both the offseason and the year ahead. He was asked about Rodgers trying to lure him to the Big Apple.

“He’s in that ear, that’s for sure… It’s not as easy, but obviously we can get together and talk about the old times, and the potential of doing this and that, but I’m a Raider and he knows that.”

Aaron Rodgers has been trying to get Adams back on his squad.

The two have been spotted together a number of times throughout the offseason, most notably at the Kentucky Derby this past spring.

Rodgers was asked about Davante Adams again this week while at the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.

“I can’t wait to play with him… again,” he replied.

Is a reunion imminent? It could be!

It was Adams recruiting Aaron Rodgers when the QB opted to leave Green Bay.

“Duh,” Adams told NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe at the Pro Bowl Games when asked if he had started recruiting former teammate Aaron Rodgers to the Silver and Black. “Why would anybody not do that. I mean 100 percent, that’s my guy. Wishful thinking, but we’ll see what happens.”

Now, the roles have reversed!

The two won’t link back up this year, but Rodgers isn’t ruling out the possibility of giving it another go down the road.
