After a video of 40-year-old New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers apparently eating a booger on the sidelines during the Jets’ Sunday Night Football loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, the future Hall of Fame QB has actually addressed the speculation.
During his weekly appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, the four-time NFL MVP was asked about the viral moment and categorically denied enjoying a boogery snack on the sidelines.
Not only that, but Rodgers claimed to have never eaten a booger in his life, which feels like a stretch due to both its improbability and the likelihood of him actually keeping track of something like that for 40 years.

“I’ve been alerted to this. And actually in the moment I was thinking, ‘Man, I hope the camera isn’t on me right now,’” Rodgers said before admitting, “It actually kind of looks like it.”
“I’ve actually never eaten my boogers, that’s one thing I’m very proud of… It’s a tough look to try and defend, because that video, it’s a little incriminating.”

If a healthy diet of boogers is what Rodgers needs to turn Gang Green’s season around then surely Jets fans will be all for it, as the team currently sits at 2-5 despite entering the season with Super Bowl expectations.
The Jets will look to break their four-game losing streak this weekend when they head up to New England to take on the Patriots. If the Jets cannot get a win over the Patriots and fall to 2-6, their season is well and truly over.
