Aaron Rodgers is getting crushed over his excuse for his late-game interception during the team’s loss. On Sunday, the New York Jets offense struggled in their loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

During the game, Rodgers overthrew a ball to wide-open Garrett Wilson in the end zone and threw a pick-six on the next play.

After the game, Rodgers blamed the wind conditions for the errant pass.

“The wind was a little inconsistent,” said Rodgers. “Maybe I should have thrown it a little flatter because he was wide open, but shoulda… I mean I gotta hit that. Windy. I played in wind before. It was inconsistent, but I gotta hit that.”

Fans mocked Rodgers for his terrible excuse.
