Aaron Rodgers is 40 years old, but he still has some fight in him. On Sunday, the NY Jets took on the Seattle Seahawks at home.
During the game, Rodgers handed off the ball and was seen running up the field, laying down a block for his running back. While Rodgers was knocked to the ground, he helped his teammate pick up an extra few yards to get the first down.

Rodgers has been reportedly battling several nagging injuries this year, and it’s unclear if Rodgers will retire at the end of the NFL season.
“I feel like I’ve been kind of year to year” Rodgers told Pat McAfee. “Obviously last year getting hurt, my whole focus was trying to get back for the end of the season, & then getting back for this season. When you’re 40 going on 41, you know you’re obviously at the end of your career, so there’s a lot of things.”
“If it’s the Jets, they have to want me to be here, & a new staff, new GM, they all have to want me to be with the Jets, & then body wise I have to see how I’m feeling & if I want to sign up to go back to the grind & all that. I’m healthy now, so if I can stay healthy the rest of the year, & play the way I want to play, & everybody feels good about bringing me back, then there’s the decision there, & if not, there’s all the other options. At this point, I think I’m open to everything & attached to nothing, so that’s a good place to be.”
