Hot on the heels of an “unauthorized” biography being released, Aaron Rodgers will now be the subject of a three-part documentary series on Netflix.

Titled Aaron Rodgers: Enigma, the docuseries will reportedly chronicle the New York Jets quarterback’s return from an Achilles tendon tear in the first week of the 2023 NFL season.

It will not only cover his comeback, the docuseries will also take a look at Aaron Rodgers’ “life and career.”

“Listen, I believe in the power of prayer and intention and from the first night this happened, hours after that, I was surrounded by a bunch of really special people in my life, and we just laid down a lot of prayers,” Aaron Rodgers says in a new first-look trailer announcing the documentary series.

The Gotham Chopra and Liam Hughes directed project will debut on December 17 and is produced by Religion of Sports, Skydance Sports and NFL Films.

“As this year’s NFL season gets underway, one of the most highly anticipated stories set to unfold over the next few months is that of New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers,” Netflix states in a press release. “After tearing his left Achilles last year just four offensive snaps into the 2023 season, he’s spent the last year preparing to get back on the field. But game-day plays and press conferences can only reveal a small part of the four-time MVP’s story.”

Reactions on social media to the announcement of Aaron Rodgers: Enigma were, like everything involving the 40-year-old future Hall of Famer, very polarizing.

“Subscription canceled,” one person wrote.

“Get this f—— drama king out of here,” another comment read.

“ZERO interest… I mean of all the athletes you chose this clown?” someone else asked.

Meanwhile, there were also a lot of comments such as these…

“Can’t wait to watch this.”

“Excited to see the comeback story unfold!”

“Go Jets!”

So, with this new Netflix documentary series and the new unauthorized biography, Out of the Darkness: The Mystery of Aaron Rodgers, NFL fans will get to know the Jets quarterback better than they ever. Yay?!
