Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers returned to The Pat McAfee Show this week and predictably had plenty to say, including the recent controversies surrounding the Team USA men’s hockey team.
After Team USA won gold over Team Canada in the men’s hockey final, the team celebrated in the locker room with FBI director Kash Patel, who used American tax dollars to fly over to Italy to partake in the celebrations. Patel’s European holiday also came as the FBI floundered its investigation into the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie.
Patel then got the team on the phone with President Trump, who accelerated the controversy by making a joke at the expense of the women’s team on a phone call, saying “We’re going to have to bring the women’s team, you do know that.”

Discussing the moment on McAfee, Aaron Rodgers specifically zeroed in on Kash Patel’s presence at the after party.
“Can we get that one guy out of the locker room though and get him working on something else? That’s a bad look. Come on, have some awareness,” Rodgers said.
Holy Sh*t: Aaron Rodgers goes OFF on FBI director Kash Patel for partying in the locker room with the Team USA men’s hockey team.

Rogers’ sentiment is one that used to be pretty common before the era of extreme politicization, and that’s the idea that hanging out with authority — the federal government especially — is lame. Could you ever imagine a world where Shaun White is doing shot-skis with James Comey? Jesse Owens chugging beers with J. Edgar Hoover?
